Q: Can I use Beginza AI for confidential client work?

Yes. Beginza AI processes everything locally. Client data, patient records, and financial information are never transmitted, logged, or seen by anyone other than you. It is built specifically for lawyers, accountants, doctors, and consultants who cannot use cloud AI for compliance reasons.

Can I use Beginza AI for confidential client work?

Beginza AI is designed for privacy-sensitive work because AI processing can take place locally rather than requiring documents to be sent to an external AI provider. Whether particular client, health, legal or financial data may be used with any AI system still depends on your organisation's policies, security controls and legal or professional obligations.

How is training different from just uploading documents?

Uploading documents to a chat AI (like DocChat) lets it answer questions about those specific files in that session. Training — Brain 2 — fine-tunes the AI model itself using your documents, so the knowledge becomes part of how it thinks permanently. A trained adapter understands your domain deeply, not just the contents of a file you've opened.

What is Beginza AI?

What does "train it yourself" mean?

Do Beginza apps send my files to the cloud?

What hardware do I need?

Is Beginza AI GDPR compliant?

Local processing can reduce the need to transmit prompts and documents to an external AI provider, which can simplify some privacy and data-governance considerations. It does not by itself make any use of AI GDPR compliant: organisations remain responsible for lawful basis, access controls, security, retention and their other UK GDPR obligations.

Beginza Limited develops and publishes Windows desktop applications and operates beginza.co.uk. This policy explains how our applications and this website handle your data. Last updated: September 2026.

Our Applications

All Beginza applications process data entirely on your local device. We do not collect, receive, transmit or store any personal data, file contents or usage information from within our applications. No network connections are made during normal operation.

AI Model Download

Some applications offer an optional AI Engine requiring a one-time download of an AI model file from Hugging Face or Ollama. This download transmits no information about you or your files. After downloading, all AI processing runs entirely offline.

Local Storage

Application preferences and scan history are stored locally in your Windows local application data folder (%LocalAppData%\Beginza\). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to Beginza.

Beginza AI Free Beta Download

Beginza AI is downloaded directly from GitHub. Downloading and running the free beta does not require an account, an email address, or any other personal information. Once installed, Beginza AI processes your conversations, documents and any other information you add to it entirely on your own device — none of it is transmitted to us or to any third party. GitHub, as the host of the download, may separately log standard access information (such as IP address) under its own privacy policy, which is outside our control.

Beginza AI Early-Access Waitlist (Legacy)

Beginza AI was previously offered through an early-access waitlist. That form is no longer the way to get Beginza AI — the free beta is now available as a direct download above — but the waitlist page remains live for reference and for anyone who signed up before this change. For anyone who submitted that form, we collected an email address, professional role, reason for interest, and intended use case, used solely to manage waitlist access and notify you when access became available. We did not and will not share, sell, or transfer that data to any third party, and we do not send unsolicited marketing emails. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@beginza.co.uk.

The legal basis for processing this data was your consent, given at the point of form submission (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Waitlist data is stored securely on our hosting server and retained until you request deletion.

This Website

beginza.co.uk does not use tracking cookies, analytics services or advertising pixels. We do not collect visitor data beyond what you voluntarily submit via forms on this site.
