Privacy Policy
In short: Beginza AI runs on your own PC. Your conversations, documents, memory and training data are stored on your PC and are never sent to us or to any AI service.
We have no user accounts and no usage tracking. We only receive information you choose to send us — for example an email to info@beginza.co.uk.
Who we are
This policy is provided by Beginza Limited, a company registered in England and Wales ("Beginza", "we", "us"). It covers Beginza AI and our other Windows apps published on the Microsoft Store, including DataTrace Pro X, Duplicate Cleaner Pro X, Photo Metadata Remover Pro X and Document Metadata Remover.

Beginza AI
What stays on your PC
Beginza AI runs its AI model on your computer. The following are stored only in the app's own data folder on your PC:
- your conversations with the Assistant
- documents you add to Ask My Docs or a watched folder, and their search index
- what Beginza AI learns about you in Know Me, your preferences and rules
- items prepared in For Review
- training examples and personalised versions created in Train My AI
- news sources and articles in News Feed
We cannot see, access or recover this information. In the Microsoft Store version, uninstalling Beginza AI deletes it. You can also clear Beginza AI's memory at any time from within the app.
When Beginza AI uses the internet
Beginza AI does not send your conversations or documents anywhere. It connects to the internet only in these cases:

No accounts, no tracking
Beginza AI has no sign-up or login, contains no advertising, and does not collect analytics or telemetry about how you use it.
Our other Windows apps
DataTrace Pro X, Duplicate Cleaner Pro X, Photo Metadata Remover Pro X and Document Metadata Remover work offline on the files you choose. They do not send your files or information about you to us or anyone else, and they have no accounts or tracking. If an app offers optional in-app purchases, Microsoft processes them as described above.
Information you send us
- Emails and reports. If you email us — including through the Report button in Beginza AI — we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it only to reply and to fix problems. Please don't include confidential client information.
- Waitlist and updates. If you join a Beginza waitlist or mailing list on our website, we keep your email address to tell you about our products. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
- Microsoft Store reviews. Reviews and ratings you post are handled by Microsoft and shown publicly on the Store.
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are your consent (waitlist and updates) and our legitimate interest in responding to you and supporting our products (emails and reports). We keep emails for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and waitlist addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We never sell personal information.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Email info@beginza.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
Because Beginza AI keeps your content on your PC, we don't hold it — you control it directly, and you can delete it from the app or by uninstalling.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
Our apps are designed for adults and professionals and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how our apps handle information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
